Are you accepting new clients?

Yes!  I currently see clients on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays

How long are sessions?

My sessions are one hour long, unless we determine that more time would be needed.

How often do we meet?

I prefer to meet with new clients once weekly. This helps us to get to know each other and establish some goals. Once we have a foundation set for our work together, we can adjust the frequency of our sessions as needed. While I do see some clients biweekly or even monthly, I find that weekly sessions are more productive and clients see significant change more quickly

What payment options are there?

I accept cash, checks and credit cards.  My fee is $120 for a 60 minute session. I do provide a sliding scale for financial hardships.

Do you take insurance?

Unfortunately, I am not on any insurance panels at this time. If you have an HMO, your sessions will not be covered. Most PPO Insurance plans, however, will provide members at least partial reimbursement for therapy with an out-of-network provider. If you are interested in using insurance and have questions, you can call the “Behavioral Health” number on your insurance to find out whether they provide reimbursement.

Can I bring my baby to my appointment?

You are welcome to bring your baby to your appointment.  Once your child is moving around, you might find it easier to leave your child with someone during your session.  I find moms that bring mobile babies to therapy tend to spend more time monitoring the child than focused on the issues they need to discuss.  That being said, it is your decision.  Older children who are may understand what is being discussed should not come with you to therapy.
